How many filters does one vacuum need? Well, if you own an Envirovac, just one. But the foam prefilter helps out. That prefilter gets all the bigger junk like pet hair and dander so the HEPA filter inside can filter out the tiny stuff. Just keep in mind that you need to change those filters or they get clogged, dirty, or torn. With these washable and reusable filters, you can just pull out the dirty one, rinse it clean and let it air dry. Replace it with a clean kit and you’re good to go for another four to six weeks.
